Wayne Family Practice was founded by Dr. Ollie O. McGahee in 1975. Two years later he recruited and was joined by three young physicians, just out of residency, from the Medical College of Georgia.
Kevin Keown, MD
BOARD-CERTIFIED FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIAN
Dr. Kevin O. Keown is a highly experienced family medicine physician who has recently relocated his practice from Jesup to Baxter, Georgia, bringing over 40 years of dedicated medical expertise to the community. A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine (1982), Dr. Keown completed his family medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and is board certified in Family Practice. Having served the residents of Wayne County since 1987, Dr. Keown provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute medical needs. He currently accepts most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid, and welcomes new patients.
